Russian warship sank in drone attack, says Ukraine

Ukraine’s military says it has used naval drones to destroy a Russian landing ship off the coast of Crimea – in another embarrassing blow for Russia’s Black Sea fleet.

It comes as the US President tries to convince Republican lawmakers to back a vital military aid package for Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

They’ve already shot down legislation to secure the US-Mexico border – at the behest of Donald Trump who doesn’t want them handing a victory to Joe Biden before the presidential election.
