Sajid Javid accused of abandoning moral stand on death penalty

The Home Secretary has been accused of abandoning the UK’s moral and legal stand against the death penalty by handing over evidence to the United States on two alleged Isis terrorists. The accusation’s been made by Ben Emmerson QC, a sitting Judge, who’s called for an inquiry into Sajid Javid’s decision to hand over evidence without assurances that the two men will not receive the death penalty.
