Sajid Javid talks up ‘fantastic’ relation with Boris Johnson despite PM advisor firing Chancellor’s aide

The Chancellor has described his relationship with Boris Johnson as “fantastic”.

That’s despite the Prime Minister’s Senior Advisor Dominic Cummings sacking one of Sajid Javid’s top aides without warning.

It comes with reports that Number Ten has warned any Conservative MPs thinking of voting against the government over a no deal Brexit that they face automatic deselection.
