Scots mothers to receive baby boxes packed with essentials

A cardboard box packed with essential items for the first year of a baby’s life. And when it’s emptied it can, along with a mattress, be turned into a cot. It’s a simple idea which has been introduced across Scotland to improve the health and welfare of the nation’s children.
