Shackleton’s lost ship Endurance found off Antarctica

She sat undisturbed and undiscovered on the seabed for more than a century.

Now one of the world’s most famous shipwrecks has been found.

The Endurance carried explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew to the Antarctic more than a century ago.

But the expedition ended in disaster when the ship was sunk by the ice.
