Singer Dame Vera Lynn dies aged 103

Dame Vera Lynn, the singer known as the Forces Sweetheart, has died today at the age of 103.

Dame Vera was best known for performing hits such as We’ll Meet Again to troops.

Her family said she died on Thursday morning surrounded by her close relatives.
