Sinn Fein rejects calls for NI deputy first minister to stand down over funeral attendance

Sinn Fein has rejected calls from the Democratic Unionist Party for Michelle O’Neill to step aside as Northern Ireland deputy first minister – after she attended an IRA funeral which brought hundreds of people out onto the streets. Ms O’Neill insisted she had acted within coronavirus guidelines.
