Now to a film about a murder on a luxurious train – and everyone’s a suspect. It was the recipe for the blockbuster movie that was Murder on the Orient Express in 1974. This week, Agatha Christie’s classic tale is having another resurrection.
With an all-star cast directed by Sir Kenneth Branagh, who himself appears as the detective Poirot, the movie was launched in lavish style today on a replica of the very train that makes up Christie’s iconic title.
