Six dead after boat carrying migrants capsizes in English Channel

A search and rescue mission is underway in the Channel after a boat carrying migrants capsized and sank close to Calais in the early hours of the morning, as it tried to reach the UK.

At least six people have died and more than 50 have been rescued. The French authorities say some people are still missing.
