Small businesses win court case against insurers over Covid payouts

It could be a financial lifeline for thousands of struggling small companies.

A landmark ruling by the High Court has found that many Business Interruption insurance policies DO cover losses caused by the coronavirus.

Insurance firms had argued pandemics weren’t part of the policies.

The judgement could trigger claims worth more than a billion pounds.
