Sudan: Pro-democracy activists vow to step up protests after military reinstates ousted PM

International Editor

A month after the military seized power in a coup, Sudan’s newly reinstated Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok pledged today to introduce a “technocratic government” of qualified professionals to lead the country on a path to democracy.

They have pledged to step up their protests, while rejecting any form of negotiation with the army.
