Sunak apologises over ‘horrific’ LGBT military ban

Rishi Sunak has apologised for what he called the “horrific” historic treatment of LGBT people serving in the military.

An independent review published today found many endured sexual abuse and violence, homophobic bullying and harassment – all while serving their country. It recommends they be compensated.
