Sunak defends Eat Out to Help Out as Tories fight over Rwanda policy

Opposing factions of Conservative MPs are meeting tonight in separate rooms, deciding if they will back Rishi Sunak’s flagship Rwanda Bill when it comes in front of the Commons tomorrow.

At least one of those groups says Mr Sunak should rip up the bill and start again.

But instead of focusing on his rebellious backbenchers, the Prime Minister had to spend the day on the other side of London giving evidence to the Covid Inquiry.
