Teachers strike again after rejecting government’s pay offer

Teachers in England have been out on the picket lines today in their dispute over pay.

The National Education Union has accused the government of refusing to enter talks and says members were taking action over what they called the “ongoing crisis in our schools”.

All four teaching unions have rejected the government’s latest pay offer and are planning more strike dates in the coming weeks.
