Teenage girl killed in park ‘caught up in drug turf war’

A jury has heard how teenage girl scout Jodie Chesney was caught up in a dispute between drug dealers and was an “entirely blameless” victim.

The Old Bailey was told how the 17-year-old A-level student was with friends when she was knifed in the back in an East London park.

Two men and two youths went on trial today for her murder and her family was in court to hear harrowing details of the final moments of her life.
