The election battle for Wales

Of the seats being contested in this general election, 40 are in here in Wales.

There’s potential for all of the main UK parties – as well as Plaid Cymru – to make gains.

As elsewhere, there are ‘remain’ pacts. But with an eye on Brexit supporters, the Conservatives are trying to challenge the dominance of the Labour party in Wales which at the last election held more than two thirds of the seats here.
