‘The government has overpromised on dates and under delivered’ – Lancet editor Richard Horton

We spoke to Richard Horton, the editor of medical journal the Lancet. In his latest book, called The Covid 19 Catastrophe, he argues that the UK has lacked a clear and bold strategy to fight the pandemic.

We asked him how much blame he laid at the government’s door for the high death toll.
