The world marks one year since Russia’s full scale invasion of Ukraine

Rishi Sunak joined leaders of the G7 nations today in agreeing new sanctions against those supporting the Russian war effort.

But there was less harmony at the United Nations where even an attempt to mark today’s anniversary with a minute’s silence was disrupted by a protest from the Russian ambassador.
