The young people impacted by Missouri law restricting transgender rights

A swathe of Republican-controlled states across America have been passing laws restricting transgender rights – the latest, Missouri where new legislation has just come into force.

Transgender minors, and some adults will no longer be able to access puberty blockers, gender affirming surgery and hormone treatment, while transgender girls and women will be barred from playing on female sports teams.

We spoke to some of the young people and their families who’ll be affected.
