‘There are issues to be addressed’ says Chief Executive of the EHRC

The Equality and Human rights watchdog has warned that the Government’s plans to stop people crossing the channel in small boats may breach the UK’s legal obligations. The EHRC said the Illegal Migration Bill – including plans to send asylum seekers to Rwanda – could also end up exposing people to serious harm.

We spoke to Marcial Boo from the EHRC and began by asking about his concerns.
