Thirteen Russian nationals have been indicted on charges of interfering in US elections. All are charged with conspiracy to defraud the United States, while five face additional charges of aggravated identity theft, with three accused of fraud.

The charges were announced by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, and come from the special investigation by Robert Mueller into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election that brought Donald Trump to power.
