Thousands of anti-lockdown protesters clash with police as some MPs call for law change 

There have been scuffles with police and 13 arrests as thousands of anti-lockdown protesters demonstrated in central London this afternoon.

The protest came after 60 MPs and peers wrote to the home secretary calling for lockdown rules to be changed to allow demonstrations to take place.

Police were criticised for the way they dealt with women holding a vigil last Saturday for Sarah Everard who was murdered in south London.
