3mThousands of businesses enter insolvency as inflation rises
The number of businesses in England and Wales entering insolvency is similar to that seen in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis – as firms face rocketing energy costs and inflation.
Latest figures from the Insolvency Service show that nearly 6,000 companies entered insolvency between July and the end of September this year.
