Thousands of homeless children living in converted shipping containers

Too many homeless children are growing up in dangerous converted shipping containers according to a new report.

The Children’s Commissioner estimates there are more than 200,000 children without a home in England – and warned that temporary accommodation provided by local authorities is often not fit for children to live in. Councils have blamed a lack of funding.
