Thousands of street parties across UK to celebrate King’s coronation

Thousands of street parties and lunches have been taking place as the long coronation weekend of festivities continued.

The USA’s First Lady Jill Biden was treated to a street party in Downing Street by Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy.

And the Princess Royal brought some big-name pizzaz to a rather less exclusive street party in Swindon.
