Police in Cheshire say they’re investigating whether there’s a case to bring a corporate manslaughter charge against the hospital where nurse Lucy Letby murdered seven babies and attempted to kill six others. 

A healthcare worker has been arrested on suspicion of murdering eight babies and the attempted murder of six others at the Countess of Chester hospital – after a year long police investigation. Cheshire police described the woman’s arrest as a significant step forward – and said all the families involved were being kept fully updated
