Police forces across England and Wales have received over 10,000 reports of disability related hate crimes in the last year, according to the disability charity United Response. 

The first ever comprehensive report into hate crime in England and Wales has found many victims were being ‘let down’ because of poor recording and response.

Brendan Cox, the husband of murdered Labour MP Jo Cox, has accused Donald Trump of spreading hate. His wife was murdered by a far-right extremist who reportedly shouted “Britain First” while attacking her. The group Britain First have always denied involvement in the murder.
