Tory leadership race: Truss and Sunak vow to crackdown on migration

The final two Tory leadership contenders have moved on from arguing over tax cuts and economic policy to pushing a tough line on illegal migration.

Both have insisted they would forge ahead with the controversial plan to operate deportation flights to Rwanda.

Rishi Sunak is also pledging an annual cap on refugee numbers, while Liz Truss promised to expand the Border Force.
