Trade minister Conor Burns sacked after misconduct claim

It’s been a torrid week for the new prime minister.

It began with policy U-turns, a breakdown in cabinet unity and her debut as leader at the Conservative party conference overshadowed by a slump in the polls, it has now ended with her sacking one of her ministers – Conor Burns.
