5mTrump defends Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh
President Trump has leapt to the defence of his Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh, who has been accused of sexual misconduct.
Mr Trump said it was a “scary time for young men” who could become the subject of false allegations.
But earlier, the Senate Democratic leader claimed there was “mounting evidence that Judge Kavanaugh is just not credible”.
