Trump faces more charges over Mar-a-Lago files

Donald Trump has been hit with more charges over his alleged mishandling of classified files. The former U.S. President is accused of asking an employee to delete security footage at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

The extra counts of obstruction and “wilful retention” of defence information, take the total charges in the case to 40. He denies any wrongdoing.
