Trump hush money trial: Defence gives closing arguments

Donald Trump’s defence team have been wrapping up their case at his hush money trial in New York – arguing that the evidence against the former president “didn’t add up” and attacking the testimony of Michael Cohen, Mr Trump’s former lawyer who became the star witness in the case.

After that, the prosecutors have their chance to sum up.
