Trump pleads not guilty to election subversion charges

As Chris Christie – one of Donald Trump’s rivals for the Republican party presidential nomination –  was in Ukraine today, Mr Trump – fresh from his court appearance – returned to his New Jersey golf club.

Earlier though he’d been lamenting the change he’d seen in Washington DC since leaving the White House.
