Twice-poisoned Putin critic returned to Russia ‘to encourage people not to be afraid’

Russian opposition activist Vladimir Kara-Murza could face up to 15 years behind bars, after being accused of spreading false information about the war in Ukraine.

He’s been remanded in custody until mid-June while the Russian authorities prepare their criminal case against him.
