A police force in Australia has been banned from taking part in the iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade, after one of its officers was charged with the murder of a former TV reporter and his partner near Sydney.
Beau Lamarre-Condon is accused of killing his ex-boyfriend and his new partner with his police-issued handgun. Mardi Gras organisers say police were asked not to march because the community needs space to grieve.
