UK to host Eurovision Song Contest next year

The UK is to host next year’s Eurovision Song Contest.

It’s an honour normally reserved for the winner of the competition, but after Ukraine came top earlier this year, organisers said an alternative venue needed to be found.

The race is now on to decide which city will play host.
