Ukraine claims ‘partial success’ in counter offensive

“Extremely fierce battles” are raging in the south and east of Ukraine according to the country’s deputy defence minister. She said the counter offensive, which began a week ago, was having “partial success”, measuring every metre of their territory taken back.

Her comments came after another night of terror for Ukrainian citizens, as Russia launched more missile and drones strikes on cities across the country.
