Ukraine Russia war: Putin forces advance on border town near Kharkiv

Russian troops have been advancing further into northeastern Ukraine, backed by fighter jets, artillery and drones.

One of their key targets is the small town of Vovchansk, near Ukraine’s second city of Kharkiv.

Thousands of civilians have already been evacuated, with reports of street fighting on the outskirts of town.
