At least 25 people have been killed in a massive wave of Russian missile attacks across Ukraine – as Kyiv prepares to launch a counteroffensive to try and retake Russian occupied territory.
23 people were killed including four children when a cruise missile hit a block of flats in Uman during the night – a city largely spared from attack.
While a woman and her three-year-old daughter died when a missile hit their home in Dnipro.
Russia’s defence ministry said it had hit “right on target”.
