Ukraine war: Battles rage as Ukraine fights to retake territory from Russia

Kyiv has been targeted by a series of Russian missile attacks at the start of a visit by African leaders designed to broker peace.

It comes as fierce battles rage in the south and east of the country as part of Ukraine’s counter-offensive to retake territory from Russian’s occupying forces.
