In a new Partnership with the University of York, Ukrainian environmental science students, who’ve had to deal with studying in a war zone, have completed a course focused on the enormous clean-up challenge that will follow the end of the war.
The illegal invasion has seen huge pollution levels from chemicals and the destruction of vital infrastructure like sewage plants. Now they will apply new skills to the clean-up of Ukraine’s land, water and air and the gradual repair of the natural environment.
