Unite union to cut political donations to Labour Party

The Labour Party’s biggest trade union backer Unite has said it will cut back on its political donations to the party, in what could appear to be an effort to distance itself from Sir Keir Starmer’s leadership.

Unite’s new general secretary Sharon Graham has said money will be given to other campaigns instead.
