Unrest in Pakistan following arrest of former prime minister Khan

Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan has been arrested outside the High Court in Islamabad – where he was due to appear on charges of corruption, which he’s denied.

A spokesman said Mr Khan was dragged out of the court compound into a police vehicle – describing it as an “abduction”.

There’s been unrest across Pakistan as his supporters took to the streets.
