Officials on the United States border with Mexico are facing calls for an inquiry over the death of a seven year old Guatemalan girl who died in US custody.

Border patrol agents insisted they’d done everything they could to provide emergency medical attention for Jakelin Caal Maquin – but her father denied allegations that she had not eaten or drunk water for several days before the pair were detained. Keme Nzerem reports.
