Using art to expose mental health inequality

The Government promised long awaited reforms to mental health services in the UK, in today’s Queen’s Speech.

The draft bill is partly aimed at addressing inequalities in the treatment of black and ethnic minorities, amid evidence that they are disproportionately diagnosed and sectioned.

The charity Mind has paired performance poets with people willing to tell their mental health stories – voices which aren’t often heard.
