Valencia: Will world leaders take climate change seriously?

The EU’s climate agency says the planet is facing its first year where temperatures will rise more 1.5 degrees above pre industrial levels.

While America – the world’s largest economy – has just elected a leader who calls climate change a ‘hoax’.

Little wonder then, that the prospect of Trump’s second term is looming large over next week’s COP29 summit.
