Victim of Rotherham abuse scandal speaks out

Sammy Woodhouse was 14 when she was sexually abused by one of the men from Rotherham’s notorious paedophile gangs. She says Arshid Hussain coerced her into a relationship, crimes like robbery and drug dealing before she had his child at the age of just 15.

Now she’s campaigning for a law to make sure children aren’t jailed for offences they committed at the hands of abusers. And she’s written a book about her ordeal – Just a Child. Cathy Newman spoke to her earlier.
