‘Water executives will no longer get away with polluting’, says Environment Secretary

Water company bosses could be banned from getting bonuses and even be sent to prison under a new government law to crack down on pollution.

The Water Bill will also give new powers to Ofwat and the Environment Agency to act against companies that damage the environment. But it’s already been criticised by clean water campaigners.
