‘We are going into a civil war now,’ says former Israel Prime Minister on judicial overhaul.

Tens of thousands of people have marched through Jerusalem after MPs passed a controversial bill removing the Supreme Court’s power to declare government actions unreasonable.

Former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Olmert initially represented the same Likud Party as Mr Netanyahu, but joined another party before becoming Prime Minister. He’s been taking part in the protests, and we asked him how dangerous today’s decision to pass the bill is for the country’s democracy.
