He made his name in the 1990s as the frontman of Primal Scream. Now, Bobby Gillespie is back with a new album, alongside the French singer-songwriter Jehnny Beth.

Together they’ve produced Utopian Ashes, which charts the lives of two lovers as their romance collapses into divorce.
